Production Hail & Wind

In Northeast Nebraska, many farmers take Production Hail insurance to supplement their MPCI coverage.

Production Hail is an endorsement that is designed to to provide coverage for bushels above and beyond your MPCI policy.

Production Hail allows farmers to affordably insure a lot of dollars per acre- up to 120% of their approved yield multiplied by the spring price.  This insurance is kept affordable because these plans cover the bushels on top of what your MPCI policy isn't covering already.

Production Hail plans also allow insureds to purchase a Green Snap/Wind Endorsement for corn acres.  This has been a very popular item in Northeast Nebraska due to the potential for high winds.  The coverages we write cover losses until 12:01 am on November 1st, unlike many other agencies which run plans that expire in the beginning or middle of October.

If you haven't looked into taking production hail insurance, we advise you to seriously consider it.  It is a product with a ton of flexibility in how much you need to cover or how much you want to spend.
